The Australian Nougat Company started producing confectionery in 1985. Our Macadamia Nougat is a uniquely Australian product. It has been described as a sophisticated 'Melt in your Mouth' French style Nougat. It is hand made at our pollution free Sunshine Coast premises with all natural ingredients. Our products are also Wheat and Gluten free. Macadamia Nuts fresh from local plantations, natural bush honey, Queensland sugar & eggs make it a real indigenous delicacy. Our Company evolved from a Macadamia plantation, so all flavours have Macadamia nuts as a base ingredient.

The Big Kart Track is the largest commercial go-kart track in Australia.
The track is 1.2 km in length and 8 metres wide. Put your wits against big sweeping bends, challenging chicanes, hair-raising hairpins and supercharged straights.

Phil and Fran Hoffman, owners of the Black Forest Hill Clock Centre at Montville have been established as a German clock retail centre since 1993 and are renowned as an Award Winning "Exceptional Tourist Attraction".

Located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, they have been able to create the delightful atmosphere of the homeland of these treasured family heirloom clocks.

Just a 40 minute drive from Noosa is the small township of Kenilworth,
with a population of less than 300, in the beautiful Mary Valley, behind the Blackall Range, and only about two hours drive
north of Brisbane.
Kenilworth & District Historical Museum prides itself on providing Living History on display. All items have a story and the volunteer guides are only too willing to take the time to share with visitors the unique history of the district.

We invite you to experience the flavors of the green hills of Maleny. Australia’s newest demonstration cheesery offers a touch of Europe on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Our licensed Cheese Stop Café and Shop welcomes you to see and taste cheese being made. We are open daily from 9am to 5pm for light refreshments, cheese platters and lunches. Award winning Maleny Cheese products and much more are available for tasting and purchase. Groups and individuals will learn and experience a unique window into European and traditional styled cheeses and yoghurts.

Unique and Boutique Macadamias, Chocolates and Confectionery

Nestled in the heart of a natural macadamia growing region is Nutworks, the Sunshine Coast Hinterland's very own Macadamia Nut Processing Factory. Situated opposite the Ginger Factory in Yandina, just 90 minutes north of Brisbane, visitors are welcomed to taste an Australian horticultural success story - the Macadamia nut.

At Nutworks you can uncover the history and health benefits of Australia's macadamia nut, view chocolates and confectionery being made and taste the delicious samples on offer. Relax while you shop for unique gifts and souvenirs, take home macadamias and confectionery at factory outlet prices and enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat at the Hardnut Cafe.

Much in the tradition of Castles all around the world – the Sunshine Castle on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia captures the imagination of old and young alike. A stand out landmark in this location it offers excitement, enchantment and education as you pass through its doors. The planning and execution of the Norman style Castle, with medieval additions, complete with moat, turrets, towers and drawbridge is unique in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere. Steam Train Tours depart from the historic Gympie Railway station every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
The "Red Rocket" Heritage Railmotor departs every Tuesday morning.

The Rattler stops at the fully restored, original stations of Dagun, Amamoor, Kandanga and Imbil where good food, country hospitality, craft stalls and wine and cheese tastings can be enjoyed.
